Indianapolis, IN – Mt Helix Real Estate Investment Fund, and Somebody Inc. have acquired six distressed and abandoned homes in Marion County on the West side of Indianapolis, IN as they initiate their public / private partnership to change the face of affordable housing in Indianapolis, according to Joe Nelson, President of Mt Helix REIF.

With thousands of distressed, abandoned and unlivable homes in this Indianapolis community alone, Somebody, Inc. and Mt Helix have formed a partnership designed to purchase groups of uninhabitable homes in transitional neighborhoods such as this, and renovate them within less than two weeks, thus almost immediately making available updated, quality housing for low income individuals and families. With the availability of affordable, quality housing, residents will have a sense of security while they work toward a more productive future.
